“There’s a lot of therapy and psychiatry out there… And if you look hard enough, some of it is good.”
Dr. Hans Watson
Many therapists are unable to accomplish the difficult task of conceptualizing how an individual’s upbringing, current situation and future outlook contribute to their current symptoms. The average therapist often becomes overwhelmed and reverts to a rigid “one size fits all” therapy protocol that generally won’t address the causes of your symptoms. This leaves the therapist and patient both feeling frustrated, suffering about a hopeless future.
University Elite Psychologists generally don’t have this problem. Our therapists have the skills necessary to incorporate all those details when understanding your individual situation. With that understanding, they always tailor an individualized therapy approach that is designed to personally help you. This individualized focus is one reason our patients often see lasting improvement and real change.
