All new patients are required to start with initial “intake” sessions. These first visits with your doctor are important for you both to “Learn The Why” behind your symptoms.
By submitting the New Patient Evaluation Form at least 5 days prior to your first appointment, the doctor will have your history and be able to focus directly on your reasons for seeking treatment. This enables you and your doctor to start with an in depth discussion about the causes and collaborate to make a full treatment plan (including medications and/or psychotherapy if needed.)
All initial sessions are 50 minutes long and are referred to as an “hour.” The remaining 10 minutes are used for administrative requirements (completing paperwork, calling in your meds, etc.) Generally, most people require 2-3 initial sessions.
FEE: $300
New patients who do not require medication management can directly engage in “intake” sessions with a psychologist.
Just like the intake with a psychiatrist, the New Patient Evaluation Form is still advised to be submitted at least 5 days prior to your first appointment.
All initial psychology sessions are 50 minutes long and are referred to as an “hour.” The remaining 10 minutes are used for administrative requirements. Generally, most people require 2-3 initial sessions.
***NOTE: In some cases diagnostic clarification may still require an evaluation with a University Elite Psychiatrist to learn the “Why” behind your symptoms. In these cases, the psychologist will explain the need and the psychiatric evaluation will be utilized to ensure the therapy is targeting the true cause of your symptoms.
FEE: $150
FOLLOW UP FOR PSYCHOTHERAPY: All psychotherapy sessions are 50 minutes long and are referred to as an “hour.” The remaining 10 minutes are used for administrative requirements.
FEE:
$300/Hour with psychiatrist
$150/Hour with Psychologist
Psychotherapy with medication management is the most effective care model possible. This appointment type requires a 50 minute time slot. During this dual-purpose session, we will adjust and alter your medication(s) as needed, as well as engage in intensive psychotherapy.
FEE: $300
Once a patient is stable and the medication regimen is well established, some patients will be notified by their doctor that they only require a 20 minute appointment. These appointments are referred to as a “half hour.”
FEE: $150
Phone calls and paperwork in excess of those routinely required as part of evaluation and treatment will be charged in 15 minute increments pro-rated at the doctors rate ($300/ hour for a psychiatrist and $150/ hour for a psychologist.)

University Elite is focused equally on patient education and treatment options. Instead of simply “throwing a med at the symptoms,” we focus on understanding the “why” behind your specific situation and symptoms. Then we take the necessary time to help our patients understand “the why.” This is the reason that our patients are equal partners in choosing their treatment approach.
Please note that to provide personalized service and full confidentiality, University Elite does not contract with any insurance providers. All services are paid for in full by the client when reserving each session.
If requested, your doctor will be happy to provide you with a reimbursement form or “superbill” which you can present to your insurance provider in order to seek partial reimbursement for psychiatric or psychotherapeutic services rendered.
…If you plan to use insurance benefits, it is recommended that you check with your insurance provider prior to your first appointment to understand the full details of your out-of-network mental health benefits. University Elite Doctors are considered “out-of-network” providers for insurance plans. These plans vary widely and typically reimburse patients anywhere from 25% to 90% of the total cost of each session. You may want to ask your insurance carrier to what extent they reimburse for psychiatric services by an out-of-network doctor.
